CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston returns home looking to extend their win streak inside TD Arena after sweeping then first-place UNCW in six sets just 12 days ago. Charleston's weekend set with longtime rival Elon marks the end of a three-week stretch against CAA members from the state of North Carolina with the Cougars splitting their first two weekends.
Saturday's match is the annual Pink Out as junior setter Emma Appleman has led the charge on organizing a partnership with the Magee-Womens Institute and Research Center. All proceeds from the Cougars' fundraising will go directly to the institute, specifically geared towards women's health. Anyone interested in donating can do so with this link.
Both teams enter the weekend looking to get back on track after Charleston fell on the road to CAA newcomer Campbell and Elon dropped a pair at home to longtime foe North Carolina A&T.
