CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team defeated Gardner-Webb 90-78 on Monday night in TD Arena.
The Cougars were propelled to victory behind
Lara Rohkohl,
Jenna Annecchiarico and
Jada Logan, who all tallied double-doubles.
Rohkohl ended the night with 10 rebounds and 19 points, one point shy of her career-high. Rohkohl's season-high performance was a result of her efficiency in the paint, shooting 90 percent.
Annecchiarico tallied a season-high 20 points with 13 assists, breaking the school record in assists. The previous record stood at 12 assists and had not been touched since 1992.
Logan finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds, tying her season-high record in points and coming within just four of her career-high.
The Cougars cruised past the Runnin' Bulldogs, leading all but 13 seconds of the contest. With nine baskets beyond the arch, Charleston reached their second 90+ point game of the season.
