CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston hits the road to close a four-game road swing Wednesday night with No. 8/10 Coastal Carolina on tap. Charleston's midweek schedule was altered due to travel complications, pushing back the game a full 24 hours.
Â
Wednesday sees the second of Charleston's home-and-home with the Chanticleers after closing the month of February with a 4-3 thriller thanks to
Will Baumhofer's go-ahead, two-run eighth-inning double. Baumhofer's clutch hit erased what was an early 3-0 deficit and was the third installment of an early season 10-game win streak for the Cougars.

Coastal Carolina is the second ranked opponent on Charleston's schedule after opening 2023 with then No. 14 Virginia Tech from Patriots Point. Charleston won the opener 5-2 on
Khyree Miller's sixth-inning grand slam.
