Cougars Draw Vermont in Myrtle Beach Invitational Bracket

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston will take on the University of Vermont Catamounts in the opening game of the 2023 Myrtle Beach Invitational at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C., on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 11:30 a.m. on ESPNU.
The Myrtle Beach Invitational, organized by ESPNEvents, also features Coastal Carolina, St. Louis, Furman, Liberty, Vermont, Wichita State and Wyoming.
In the second round on Friday, Nov. 17, the Cougars will play either St. Louis or Wyoming at 11 a.m. (CT) or 1:30 p.m. (CT). Saturday (Nov. 18) is an off day during the tournament, with the conclusion set for Sunday, Nov. 19.
Vermont won the America East conference title a season ago, advancing to play Marquette in the first round of March Madness. Marquette defeated Vermont 78-61 in Columbus. The Catamounts become the fourth 2023 NCAA tournament team the Cougars will face this season.
