Women's Tennis Kicks Off Fall Schedule at CSU

CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston women's tennis team will kick off their fall schedule at the CSU Invitational on September 28-29.

Saturday will take place on Charleston Southern's courts, while Sunday's matches will be at the Turner Tennis Center.

The Cougars finished their successful 2023-24 campaign with a 17-5 overall record and a 6-1 conference record. The team entered the conference tournament with a bye into the CAA Quarterfinals.

Returning to the roster for the Cougars includes Oziera Ahmad, who was named CAA Rookie of the Year after her impressive spring season. Also returning is Maja Jekauc, who compiled a 10-4 record in the singles No.1 position.

Due to inclement weather, the weekend schedule has been adjusted and can be seen below:

Saturday at CSU
9 a.m. Doubles: CSU vs CofC
11:30 a.m. Singles: CofC vs Wofford
2 p.m. Singles: CofC vs Jacksonville State

Sunday at CofC
9 a.m. Doubles: CofC vs Wofford
9:45 a.m. Doubles: CofC vs Jacksonville State
12:30 p.m. Singles: CofC vs CSU
