Taryn Barbot Earns Third-Straight CAA Weekly Honor

RICHMOND, Va. – After aiding the Cougars to two wins in the final weekend of the regular season, Taryn Barbot has been named CAA Co-Player of the Week.
Barbot goes back-to-back-to-back as the CAA Player of the Week, after she averaged 26.0 points alongside 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals during a two-game stretch. In a top-four conference battle against Campbell, the Floral Park resident had 21 points alongside six boards in the 75-54 win. Barbot's hot form continued when she dropped 31, leading the Cougars to a 93-66 win over Hampton. The sophomore guard has scored 20+ points in her last four games, and now has four games of 30 or more this season.
Charleston will return to the court on Friday, March 14 in the Quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament.
