Toubia Named CAA Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston women's soccer defender, Caitlyn Toubia named CAA Defensive Player of the Week after her performance against Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian.
Toubia guided the Cougar backline to a pair of shutouts against Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian, playing 147 minutes last week. The sophomore defender helped hold opponents to just nine shots combined, including just four on frame, all coming against Gardner-Webb. The Overland Park, Kan., native assisted in denying Presbyterian from registering an attempt on net, seeing the Blue Hose register just one shot across 90 minutes.
The Cougars head to Monmouth this Thursday, with kick off set for 6:00 p.m. The game will be streamed through FloCollege with the link to watch here.
