
Bryant Earns CAA Pitcher of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – College of Charleston redshirt junior Carson Bryant was tabbed the Coastal Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week.
Bryant limited UNCW to one hit over 7.0 scoreless innings and struck out seven as Charleston defeated the Seahawks, 5-0, on Sunday to clinch the series. The right-hander allowed only a fourth-inning single while setting career highs for innings pitched and strikeouts. Bryant (2-3) had only inning with multiple runners on base.
Charleston earned its fifth weekly honor and third different player of the week as Johnson joins freshmen Jake Amman (Player, March 2), freshman Carter Harrington (Rookie, March 9), sophomore Alex LaCoste (April 6) and graduate Dylan Johnson (Player, April 20).
CofC continues its road swing May 5 for a 6 p.m. matchup at Charleston Southern.
