Women’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Charleston, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's soccer team earned the College Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches announced Friday. The Cougars earned a spot on the pristine list with an overall 3.77 grade point average on the 2025-26 academic year.
The award spans across all divisions and requires a minimum of a 3.0 team grade point average to be eligible. This year, there were 777 teams honored (326 men, 451 women).
Amongst the women's teams, the Cougars were tied for 18th best in GPA, and tied for eighth in Division I. With the impressive academic performance by the team, they also posted the top grade point average in the CAA.
