Biography

JUNIOR (2010-11)
Earned All-Southern Conference Second Team honors for the first time of his career...Spent the majority of the season at No. 3 singles, recording a 9-1 conference mark and finishing the year with a 15-6 overall record which was third-best in the SoCon behind teammate Mickael Trintignac...Honored on the All-SoCon Second Team in doubles with Stephen Hardy...The duo went 16-7 in dual matches with an 8-2 league mark playing primarily at No. 2 doubles...They also closed out the regular season with a six-match win streak.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
Had an impressive 19-win season helping lead the Cougars at the No. 3 position...Southern Conference Academic All-Conference Team member...Posted a 19-7 overall singles record and went 8-2 in SoCon play...Won his flight in the Charleston Invitational going 3-0...Had two three-match winning streaks and one seven-match winning streak at the end of the season...Collected a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Joshua Tchan of Harvard with an amazing tiebreak score of 24-22 in the Hokie Challenge...Compiled a 17-10 overall doubles record playing exclusively at the No. 1 position...Went 6-4 in SoCon action with partner Lukas Koncilia...Earned All-Conference First Team honors in doubles...Had two five-match winning streaks during the season and one four-match winning streak...Upset No. 42-ranked Tucker Vorster and Jonas Lutjen of Ole Miss with an 8-5 victory...Clinched wins for the Cougars versus East Carolina and Charlotte.
FRESHMAN (2008-09)
Started the spring season with a 7-2 record...Went 2-0 against Princeton and Columbia on the road playing at the No. 4 position...Clinched three matches for the team including wins against Chattanooga at the No. 2 line and Charlotte...Won his first match playing No. 1 singles against East Carolina (6-7, 6-1, 7-6)...Had two three-match win streaks including the last three matches of the season...Posted an 8-2 singles record playing No. 4 in dual matches for the Cougars...Voted onto the Freshmen of the Year Team for the Southern Conference...Finished the year with an overall 12-11 singles record and a 5-2 doubles record playing at the No. 1 line with Lukas Koncilia.
HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR CAREER
Played and traveled to extensive international tournaments throughout his junior career...Ranked in the top 50 of the Belgium rankings in 2008...The No. 250-ranked under-18 player by the International Tennis Federation in 2008...Defeated a top 50 player at the Astid Bowl Tournament.
