2014: Led an extremely impactful campaign as a sophomore, ultimately earning him Second Team All-CAA Honors as well as being named to the CAA All-Tournament Team… started all 63 games for CofC… hit .295 on the year with 67 hits, second most on the Cougars… maintained a .395 on-base percentage and .419 slugging percentage on 11 doubles, four triples, and three long balls… drove in 54 runs to lead the Cougars and scored 24 times… fielded at .956 on 297 chances… recorded multiple hits on 19 occasions and spawned a 14-game reached base streak… led the Cougars to a 12-3 win over Charleston Southern (Feb. 19) by going 2-for-3 with four RBIs including a home run.

2013 – Named to the 2013 All-Southern Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team … started 54 games at second base … hit .321, third on the team, with 21 RBI and seven doubles … stole the second-most bases on the team with nine stolen in 13 attempts ... finished ninth in the SoCon with 52 runs scored … posted a fielding percentage of .983 with 133 assists and only four errors ... had four RBI with a double and single vs. Coastal Carolina (4/23) … recorded a double and a triple at Davidson (4/14).

Before CofC - Played infield at Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, N.C. ... named to all-conference and all-county teams ... won two conference championships while maintaining a .410 batting average with 111 RBIs, 14 home runs and 28 stolen bases ... 4.7 GPA which was the highest on his baseball team and 18th in his class.  

Personal - Son of Chris and Karen Butler ... National Honors Society, student government, captain of the student section ... participated in Urban Ministries as well as mission trips to Memphis and Honduras ... his career ambition is to play in the pros.
