Before CofC: Comes to College of Charleston from South Carolina and Spartanburg Methodist junior college ... in 2010 at USC, he went 13.0 IP with an ERA of 4.85 and one win ... in 2009 at SMC he compiled a 10-3 record and 2.10 ERA, striking out 85 and walking just 19 in 72.2 innings pitched ... led SMC to the 2009 NJCAA World Series and earned Second Team All-Region honors ... graduated from Boiling Springs HS in 2008 where he was the SC AAAA Player of the Year after going 11-0 with a 0.73 ERA and 119 strikeouts during his senior year.
