Madison picked up CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors on October 23.
Crushing the Competition: Krissy Mummey has put together an unforgettable senior thus far, and continues to rise to the occasion against the Cougars' toughest opponents. Climbing the Ladder: Junior setter Allison Beckman continues to make her way toward the top of the Cougars' record books with another fine season. With 27 assists in the Cougars' sweep of UNCW last weekend, the 5-foot-10 setter moved into sixth in program history, and currently sits at 3,208 assists for her career.
Top-10 Stalwart: Junior libero McKala Rhodes put in a performance of historical significance last weekend, as the 5-foot-10 Charleston native moved up a notch on the program's all-time digs list in the Cougars' win over UNCW. After cracking the top-10 against Northeastern on October 21, Rhodes jumped into ninth with a 14-dig effort in the Pep Supper win over James Madison.
Scouting Towson: The Tigers enter the match with the best overall record in the CAA with a 23-3 mark, but sit second with a 9-3 record in league play. Towson leads the conference in kills per set (14.51) and opponent hitting percentage (.145), and ranks third in hitting percentage (.234). Silvia Grassini ranks second in individual hitting percentage (.367), while Anna Holehouse comes into the weekend ranked third in digs per set (4.77).
