Last Time Out
Wednesday's midweek tilt between the Cougars and Citadel Bulldogs was suspended with one out, two runners on, and the Cougars leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth after a technical malfunction with the lighting system at Joe Riley Park.
Walk-off Wizards
Charleston needed a bit of magic to complete its weekend sweep of James Madison on Sunday, orchestrating a pair of walk-off victories to put the finishing touches on its fifth series sweep of the season. After Danny Wondrack rung one off the wall for a walk-off single in game one, Bryson Ward scampered home when the throw to second went to the wall in the bottom of the ninth in game two.
Mowing Them Down
The Cougars' pitching staff put their strikeout prowess on display this weekend against James Madison, as five pitchers combined for 43 strikeouts while walking only five Dukes to take over the national lead in strikeout-to-walk ratio. Evan Sisk struck out 13 on Friday night to earn his sixth win of the season (ranked eighth nationally), while Griffin McLarty and Carter Love each recorded nine strikeouts.
Leading the Pack
The Cougars come into the weekend leading the CAA in nearly every offensive category, batting .286 as a team with 197 runs scored, 59 doubles, 35 home runs, and 48 stolen bases, while combining for a .445 slugging percentage. CofC also leads the CAA with a 2.75 team ERA, and has allowed the least number of home runs (10).

Northeastern enters the weekend with an 18-11 overall record, and a 5-1 mark in CAA play after sweeping Elon. The Huskies are batting .279 as a team - second in the CAA - with 16 home runs and 40 stolen bases.
