CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team is back on the road this weekend for a three-game series in Colonial Athletic Association play at William & Mary as the Cougars enter the final 10-game stretch of the regular season. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with junior Griffin McLarty (Buckner, Ky.) taking the ball for the Cougars opposite William & Mary junior Wade Strain.

Weekend Preview
The Cougars and Tribe meet for the 21st time on Friday evening as the CAA schedule enters its home stretch. Charleston has won the last four meetings with William & Mary, including a series sweep in 2018.

Scouting William & Mary
William & Mary enters the weekend with a 25-19 overall record and a 7-11 mark in CAA play after taking two of three from Towson over the weekend. The Tribe lead the league and rank 10th in the nation in triples (18), while ranking fourth in the CAA with a 4.04 team ERA.

Hunter Smith paces the Tribe and ranks second in the conference with 11 home runs. Zach Pearson leads the team with 12 doubles and a .318 batting average. Senior Bodie Sheehan carries a 4-2 record with a 2.82 ERA over 11 starts and 70.1 innings.

The Cougars hold a 14-6 lead in the all-time series with William & Mary. Charleston has won the last four meetings and six of the last 10 in the series.

Last Time Out
The Cougars defeated UNCW on Sunday, 10-3, behind a two-homer day from Dupree Hart to avoid a series sweep. Josh Price allowed one run over five innings to earn the win, while Nathan Ocker fanned three to pick up his 10th save of the season.

Breaking the Streak
Charleston snapped a four-game losing streak against Georgia Southern with a 5-1 victory on Wednesday evening in Statesboro, Ga. The win cuts the Cougars' all-time series deficit to 34-36, and marks Charleston's first victory in Statesboro since Apr. 21, 2015.

New Power Threat?
Senior Dupree Hart powered the Cougars to a 10-3 win over UNCW on Sunday with two home runs and five RBI's as part of a 4-for-5 effort. His two bombs marked the first multi-home run game of his career, as the Rock Hill, S.C. native set a new career-high with 10 total bases.

Price on Point
Right-hander Josh Price came out of the bullpen to deliver a superb performance in last Sunday's win over UNCW, allowing one run and scattering four hits across five innings to earn his sixth win of the season. The Dillon, S.C. native has surrendered only one run on seven hits in 10 innings over his last five appearances.

Chasing History
Senior Nathan Ocker is in the midst of a superb final season, entering the week with a 5-2 record, 10 saves, and a 2.67 ERA in 30.1 innings over 22 appearances. The Middletown, Pa. native ranks second all-time with 24 saves, and is also second in career WHIP (0.99) after setting the single-season mark with a mark of 0.72 in 2018.

Base-Running Terrors
The Cougars are giving opposing pitching staffs fits on the bases paths this season, and enter the week ranked eighth in the nation with 101 stolen bases in 44 games. Dupree Hart leads the CAA with 33 swipes, which ranks sixth in the nation and places him seventh on the program's single-season list.
