Cougars Set For Two-Match Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Tennis is set to play a two-match slate this weekend at home and on the road. Duquesne rolls into the Lowcountry for a matchup with the Cougars on Friday, March 6 at 1:30 p.m. The Cougars then hit the road to take on Georgia Southern on Saturday, March 7 at 2 p.m.

CofC enters the match with a 7-5 overall record, riding a two-match win streak with wins over Towson (7-0) and St. John's (4-3), both at Patriots Point.
Freshman Halli Trinkle leads the team in singles play, holding an impressive 9-2 record with an 8-1 record at the No. 2 position. Junior Eva Nyikos comes in at second with a 8-3 record, all at the No. 3 position.
Trinkle and Nyikos have been dominant in doubles play as well, logging a 7-2 record when on the same court.

The Dukes enter the match with a 4-5 record on the season and ride a two-match losing skid. They most recently fell to A-10 foe Davidson by a score of 4-0. This marks just the first matchup between the two programs.
