
Cougars Earn No. 5 Seed in CAA Tournament, Face No. 4 Seed Elon on Friday in Philadelphia

Tip-off is set for 2:30 p.m. on FloHoops
PHILADELPHIA, PA. -- The No. 5 seed College of Charleston women's basketball team (17-12, 9-9) will begin CAA Tournament play on Friday in Philadelphia. The Cougars will take on No. 4 seed Elon (17-11, 9-9) at 2:30 p.m. inside the Daskalakis Athletic Center on the campus of Drexel University. The game will be streamed live on FloHoops.

- The College of Charleston enters CAA Tournament play on a three-game winning streak following wins at UNCW and at home over Hofstra and Northeastern
- The Cougars won three in a row to finish at 9-9 in CAA play. The nine conference wins are tied for the most in a season since CofC joined the CAA in the 2013-14 season
- The Cougars won their 17th game on March 5th, the third most regular season wins in the program's D1 history and the most overall wins since the 2013-14 team posted a 19-15 record

- The College of Charleston Cougars sent their four seniors out on a high note in their final game in TD Arena with a 73-64 win over Northeastern. Tyler Collins dropped 22 - one off her season-high - on three made triples to lead the Cougars. Latrice Perkins added 20 points - her third 20-point game in the last five games - to go along with eight rebounds and four steals
- The Cougars and the Phoenix met twice this season, with Elon winning by five points in each meeting.Charleston fell 71-66 at home in an overtime thriller to Elon in the most recent meeting of the two teams
