CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will travel the short distance to North Charleston to face local rival, CSU. The game will take place in Buccaneer Fieldhouse on Friday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m.
The Cougars are looking to bounce back from a road loss to the UNLV Lady Rebels last Friday, falling to the reigning Mountain West Champions.
Alexis Andrews led Charleston in its competition out west, downing 22 points and eight rebounds. Also putting points on the board was
Jada Logan, scoring 15 points after reaching her 1,000-point career milestone in the Cougars' home opener.

This contest will serve as the 70th matchup between the two schools, dating back to 1975. Charleston has defeated the Buccaneers for the past seven games consecutively and will be looking to continue the winning streak.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Charleston Southern finished its 2022-23 season with a 5-25 record, ending 3-15 in the Big South conference.
The Buccaneers started the 2023-24 season with two large road tests against ACC schools, No. 18 Florida State and Clemson. Heading into Friday's matchup, CSU will be looking for its first win of the season.
