TOWSON, Md. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team fell on the road to Towson on Sunday afternoon 59-66.

Anika McGarity, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc, the Cougars entered the second half just one point behind Towson.
Plagued by turnovers, the Tigers managed to hit every crucial bucket, never allowing the Cougars to overcome the deficit. A scoring drought in the third quarter led to Cougars to a double-digit deficit that they could not recover from.
