CARY, N.C. – The Charleston men's tennis team wrapped up its stint at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Carolina Regional Championships Monday afternoon.
In total, the Cougars earned five wins at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Junior
Ram Mude earned two wins in qualifying on Friday to advance to the main draw. Mude defeated Devon Moskowitz of UNC Greensboro in three sets in the opening round before sweeping Ian Rasheed of Wofford in the second round.
Senior
Eddie Vo collected a consolation win in a two-set sweep over Curzio Manucci of Coastal Carolina.
Sophomore
Jake Smith also won his consolation match on Friday afternoon, defeating Sebastian Carpio from Davidson.
In doubles, the senior duo of
Leon Harder and Vo earned Charleston's fifth victory via forfeit by a Duke duo.
