MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. – The Charleston men's tennis team is set to compete at the CCB Invite from October 24-26.
The tournament will be hosted by Samford at the Samford Men's Tennis Center, and a total of 10 schools will be competing this weekend. The full field includes Auburn, CofC, Kennesaw State, Louisiana Lafayette, North Alabama, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Tulane and UAB.
Play will begin at 9 a.m. each day. Friday will only have singles matches, while Saturday and Sunday will feature both singles and doubles competitions.

LAST TIME OUT – Charleston last competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Carolina Regionals where the team collected five total wins at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

Ram Mude contributed with two wins in qualifying to advance to the main draw. In a three-set battle, Mude defeated his opponent from UNC Greensboro, then impressively swept his next opponent from Wofford in the second round. Senior
Eddie Vo had a consolation win in a two-set sweep over his Coastal Carolina opponent. Another consolation match win is thanks to sophomore
Jake Smith, who defeated his opponent from Davidson. The fifth win came in doubles via forfeit.
UP NEXT – The Cougars will finish their fall schedule by hosting the Charleston Invitational at the Turner Tennis Center at Patriots Point from November 8-10.
