
Noonan Named CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – College of Charleston freshman Caroline Noonan earned Coastal Athletic Association Co-Rookie of the Week Monday.
Noonan shared the weekly honor with Hofstra's Nina Jioshvili-Ravva.
Noonan continued her strong play at the net, concluding the regular season with 19 kills, 10 blocks and a .375 hitting percentage in the sweep over Elon. In Saturday's win, Noonan tallied six kills and six blocks before hitting .423 with 13 kills and four blocks on Sunday. Noonan recorded six blocks in five matches and has hit .400 or better, with a minimum of 12 kills, in six contests this season.
Noonan earned her fourth weekly conference award after being named Rookie of the Week Sept. 15, Offensive Sept. 29 and Defensive Oct. 20. Noonan is the first CAA volleyball player since at least 2013 to earn all three honors in the same season.
Fourth-seeded Charleston faces No. 5 seed North Carolina A&T in the opening round of the 2025 CAA Volleyball Championship Nov. 20. Opening serve from SECU Arena in Towson, Md., is scheduled for 3 p.m. with the match airing live on FloCollege.
