MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball plays its first home midweek contest of the season when it faces Wofford on Tuesday, March 11 at Patriots Point. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. with the game airing live on FloCollege.
The game will feature the first $2 Twosday, where general admission tickets are just $2 if purchased online.

FIRST PITCH:
- CofC won the series against App State with an 11-4 victory on Sunday. Charleston also won Friday's contest, 5-4.
- The Cougars slugged a pair of home runs in the six-run fifth inning, the second time this year Charleston has hit two homers in a frame.
- Graduate Avery Neaves launched a three-run shot before redshirt junior Ethan Plyler left the yard two batters later, bringing in the fifth and sixth runs.
- Plyler finished the contest by going 2-for-3 with 4 RBI and a walk.
- Redshirt junior Daniel Brooks earned the win in his first weekend start. The righty allowed four runs on just two hits in five innings of work.
- The bullpen shut the door, allowing just two base runners across the final four innings.
- Three Cougars extended their hitting streaks in the win: Will Baumhofer (9), Brent Gibbs (8) and Neaves (7).
- Gibbs has also reached base safely in all 10 games he's played in.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston and Wofford have faced one another 52 times dating back to the Cougars time in the SoCon. CofC holds a 40-12 record in the all-time series and have won 21 of the 26 games at home. The Cougars won two of the three games over the Terriers last March at Patriots Point by scores of 4-0 and 11-7. Wofford took the middle game of the series, 3-2.

- The Cougars wraps up its 10-game homestand with a three-game series against Dartmouth, starting on Friday, March 14. First pitches during the weekend slate are set for 6 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m.
