CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head men's basketball coach Chris Mack has announced the signing of graduate transfer guard Connor Hickman to the 2025-2026 roster.
A 1,000 point scorer, Hickman spent the 2024-2025 season at Cincinnati, playing in 13 games before missing the rest of the season due to injury. Prior to his injury, Hickman made seven starts averaging 4.9 ppg, 2.6 rpg, and 1.2 apg while shooting 41% from the field. He reached double-figure points on three occasions.
"We cannot wait to get Connor on campus. It was certainly a tough season for him as an injury prevented him from finishing off his collegiate career," said Mack. "Connor is a tough nosed, competitive, athletic combo guard."
Hickman spent three seasons at Bradley prior to joining the Bearcats. He ended his career with the Braves averaging 14.5 ppg and 3.4 rpg in 2023-24. A Bloomington, Indiana native, Hickman was a two-time Missouri Valley All-Conference performer earning third team honors in 2023-24 and second team honors in 2022-23.
"His production at Bradley in his first few seasons is indicative of the player Charleston will be getting. He's a winner who plays with a chip on his shoulder. Connor will be another player in the mold of what Cougar Basketball is all about."
At the end of his final season at Bradley, Hickman ranked 15th in points per game (14.1), 10th in field goal percentage (.455), seventh three pointers per game (2.3), eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.8), 11th in steals (1.3) and 16th in minutes played (32.5) in the Missouri Valley Conference. He was second on the team in points in conference play with 15 per game and a .410 three-point percentage.
