CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head men's basketball coach John Groce has announced the signing of Ben Bradford to the 2026-27 Cougars' roster.
The 6'5' rising junior guard spent the last two seasons at Charlotte under current Cougar assistant coach Aaron Fearne. He led the 49ers offense this past season, averaging 13.5 points per game with 23 games in double-figures while shooting 45% from the field.
"We are excitement to have Ben join the Cougar Basketball family. Ben will bring experience and toughness that will elevate our program," said Groce. "We are looking forward to continuing to develop his game."
Bradford appeared in all 34 contests in 2025-26, the only player on Charlotte's roster to do so. He scored a career-high 31 points vs. Indiana State and grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds vs. UTSA. The guard appeared in 25 games during his rookie season off the bench.
Prior to Charlotte, Bradford was named first-team All-Met by the Washington Post after averaging 27 points per game as a senior at Gaithersburg High School. He was named to the Founders League Player of the Year and selected to All-NEPSAC team.
