2012 - All-SoCon Second Team ... posted a 1.73 ERA and 3-0 record with one save in 29 appearances out of the bullpen ... struck out 52 batters while only walking 20 ... earned wins in relief over South Alabama (2/17) and Toledo (3/6) ... came in with runners in scoring position and two out but struck out the final batter of the game to earn a save at Furman (3/10) ... notched a save at Clemson (5/7) with three-inning shutout performance ... signed as a free agent with Arizona Diamondbacks following season.

2011 - Made 24 appearances out of the bullpen ... led the team with eight saves and posted a 1-3 record ... compiled a 4.46 ERA based on 36.1 innings of work ... struck out 35 batters and held opponents to a .248 batting average.

Before CofC - Played two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College... Lettered four seasons at Gilbert High School... Won Region Champs all four years and SC AA State Championships in 2006 and 2008... All-State pick in 2006, 2007, 2008... All-Region and All-Area honors in 2006, 2007, 2008.

Personal - Enjoys fishing... Brother Christopher Owings was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 1st round (41st overall) of the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft.
