College of Charleston Athletics

Rachel is entering her third season as Assistant Director of Communications and Creative Content at College of Charleston, serving as the contact for women’s basketball and the men’s and women’s soccer and tennis teams.

Bilenki manages the social media accounts for each of her programs, including creation of unique graphics that has expanded brand recognition throughout each platform. She also prepares comprehensive game notes, writes previews and recaps of each contest and travels with women’s basketball to provide in-game social media coverage.

Prior to joining the Cougars, she worked as an Account Executive with the North Carolina Courage. Also during her time in Raleigh, Bilenki worked with NC State athletics, assisting in ticket operations and communications. While in school, she interned for Shaw University athletic communications, assisting in game notes and website management for football and women's soccer.

She gained extensive experience during her college career at NC State as a sportswriter for The Technician and was the first woman to be elected to a leadership role at the newspaper in almost a decade. Her work was recognized when she was named a recipient of the NC College Media Association Award in Sports Writing.

Bilenki is a 2021 graduate of NC State with a degree in Sport Management. She later earned a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Louisville in 2023. She resides on Daniel Island with her cat, Winnie.
