The Gators started the game off with four runs in the top of the first inning and added six more through the course of seven innings.
Centerfielder Kristi Woodall went 2-for-4 from the plate, while Kristie Shifflett and Katie Nutaitis both went 1-for-3. Sophomore Terri Mesko (0-6) pitched through six innings and 30 batters striking out two Gators before Alexa Datko finished out the game.
Stacey Nelson got the win striking out six Cougars through 12 at-bats to move her record to 5-0.
