TOWSON, Md. – Charleston dropped the final regular season game 5-3 against Towson Saturday, May 2.
The Cougars finish the season 26-28 overall and 14-10 in the CAA before heading to the conference tournament.

- Sam Horn doubled for an RBI and Leela Langston scored in the top of the first for the lead.
- Towson responded with a three-run bottom of the first on a home run.
- In the top of the sixth, Horn doubled again for two RBI and Langston and Bronwyn Conroy scored. The Cougars would not score again in the bottom of the seventh for a final score of 5-3.
- Erin McDaid started in the circle for the Cougars pitching one inning. Ryley Kutter pitched five with two strikeouts.
- Charleston had four hits total coming from Horn, Langston and Audri Bates.
- Charleston begins the post season at the CAA Tournament May 6-9 in Elon, N.C.
