Breanna Bolden | Women's Basketball | Junior | Edgewater, Md. | Public Health
Through the first two games of the women's basketball season, Breanna Bolden has reprised her role as the central cog in the Cougars' offense. In the Cougars' season-opening 55-48 win over Houston Friday, the reigning CAA Defensive Player of the Year picked up right where she left off last season, going 3-of-4 from deep and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe for 19 points on the night and adding six rebounds, two steals, and tying a career-high four assists. Following things up with another 15 point game in the loss to Boise State, the junior is averaging 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 steals to kick off the year.

College of Charleston junior guard Canyon Barry scored a career-and game-high 31 points to lead the Cougars to a 74-54 rout of South Carolina State in the program's season opener on Nov. 13. He went 9-of-16 from the field with four three-pointers and 9-of-10 makes from the free throw line underhanded.
