GAME PREVIEW
Riding a four-game win streak, the College of Charleston men's basketball team (6-2) will host NCAA Division II North Greenville (3-7) post-final exams on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. (ET) at TD Arena. The Cougars will play four of their six games in the month of December on their home court where they are an undefeated 3-0 on the season including their conference opener versus Towson on Dec. 30. It will mark the second all-time meeting between both schools since an 89-52 victory over the Crusaders in December of 2015. CofC is one of 69 teams in the country (351 total in NCAA Division I) with six wins and two losses or less on the season and one of 48 who have won four-or-more games in a row. Defensively, the Cougars are holding opponents to 62.4 points per game, which ranks No. 30 nationally limiting their last opponent High Point to a 58-point scoring output on Dec. 4. They also rank No. 17 in the country turnovers per game (11.0 avg.). Offensively, CofC scored a season-high 48 second-half points after trailing High Point at halftime. They have now scored 40-or-more points in the second half on four occasions this season. Sunday's contest will be one final tune-up before a road trip to preseason Atlantic 10 Conference favorite Rhode Island on Dec. 16 in Kingston, R.I.
A LOOK AT NORTH GREENVILLE

COUGAR SOUND BITES
"The only thing I was disappointed was that they (High Point) had a couple of tip-ins. Other than that, they were on their way to a 29-point half. I can't be mad at that (defensive) effort. I was more disappointed we didn't adjust quicker to change the way we were playing on offense." – CofC Head Coach Earl Grant on the team's first-half offensive struggles against High Point
"They have adjusted. We have won four in a row. We won on the road against a good team (in Charlotte). We won the home opener (against Siena). They have done a great job adjusting, but it hasn't been easy. It's next man up and that's what we have done. You have to give the players credit. They have done a good job of holding it together. We've had the week off – a much-needed one to go into the classroom and take some exams. We studied film and figured out how we can become more efficient with the three practices we had during the break." – Coach Grant on the team adjusting to Jarrell Brantley being out of the lineup
"He has a couple of weeks left. We just take it one day at a time with him. If he comes back next week or in two weeks or in three-or-four weeks that is fine, too. We want him to be healthy and feeling good. His health is more important to us than him returning right now. We will keep plugging away and finding a way to win games." – Coach Grant on the status of junior forward Jarrell Brantley
