CHARLESTON, S.C. – Former Dayton 6-foot-9 forward Sam Miller (Arlington, Va.) has enrolled at the College of Charleston and joined the men's basketball team.
"We are really excited to have Sam join our program," CofC Head Coach Earl Grant said. "He is a young man that we watched and evaluated while he was in high school. We believe he will be a great addition to our program on the court and in the classroom."
Miller, who played two seasons for the Flyers averaging 3.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, will not be able to play immediately and is subject to NCAA transfer rules.
He was a first-team all-conference selection leading then No. 7 nationally-ranked Gonzaga College High School in the Washington, D.C. area to a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Championship title in 2015.
