MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- Dupree Hart (Rock Hill, S.C.), Luke Morgan (New Lenox, Ill.), and Riley Knudsen (Cabot, Ark.) combined for seven RBIs, and Evan Sisk (Chester, S.C.) held CSU Bakersfield to one run in five innings of work to lead the College of Charleston baseball team to a 13-1 win on Friday evening at Patriots Point.
College of Charleston (11-3) set a season-high with 13 runs, while holding an opponent to two runs or less for the seventh time. CSU Bakersfield (6-9) pushed across one run on three hits.
Hart went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to pace the offense, while Morgan pushed across two runs with a 3-for-5 effort. Bryson Ward (Gaffney, S.C.) collected his first collegiate RBI and stolen base in the effort.
Sisk surrendered one run on two hits and struck out five in five innings to earn his third win of the season. Kris Kuhn (Summerville, S.C.) tossed three shutout innings in relief, while Jack Collins (Decatur, Ga.) threw a scoreless ninth.
