Cougars Look To Ground Seahawks In Critical Series

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- A crucial series awaits the second-place College of Charleston baseball team on the final weekend of the regular season, as the Cougars travel to Wilmington, N.C. to take on third-place UNCW with both teams within two games of first-place Northeastern. First pitch for Thursday's series opener is scheduled for 6:00 pm.

The Cougars have performed near the top of their game against some of the nation's best this season, compiling a 7-3 record against teams ranked in the top 50 in RPI. Dupree Hart leads the team with a .389 average in those 10 games to go along with 10 runs scored; Luke Manzo (8), Danny Wondrack (7), and Logan McRae (7) have combined for 22 RBIs against the top 50.
