- Sophomore Madison Taylor scored a career-high 20 points and registered three steals in the process.
- Sophomore Latrice Perkins poured in 15 points, four rebounds and three assists while freshman Taylor Williams registered 13 points and five rebounds.
- The Cougars forced 21 first-half turnovers, the second most in a single half this season, and scored 30 points off of those Pride turnovers.
- The Pride outrebounded the Cougars 41-33 and scored 17 second-chance points compared to CofC's six.
- CofC's bench outscored Hofstra's bench 25-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first five minutes of the game consisted of four lead changes and three ties before the Cougars went on a 9-1 run sparked by a triple from Perkins.
- Perkins scored three consecutive buckets to start the second quarter to give the Cougars a nine-point lead.
- Williams sparked a 9-2 run for the Cougars with a triple, followed by a Deja Ford triple and a Taylor triple which gave CofC a 14-point lead.
- Taylor knocked down consecutive three pointers to give the Cougars a 17-point halftime lead.
- Taylor picked up right where she left off as she cashed in another triple to extend the Cougar lead to 20 points.
- After trading buckets throughout the third quarter, Hofstra rallied back and cut the CofC lead to just 11 points.
- The Pride made a late push in the fourth quarter and brought the game within as little as two points, but the Cougars held on with clutch free throws by Arynn Eady.
