CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball is set to play its last home game of the season as it hosts Northeastern on Sunday, March 1 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day. The seniors will be honored just before tip-off.
Last Outing
The College nearly escaped a late comeback attempt by Hofstra on Feb. 28 by a score of 67-63 to improve to 12-14 on the season. Sophomore Madison Taylor had herself a career night as she logged a career-high 20 points and also registered three steals in the process. Fellow sophomore Latrice Perkins poured in an additional 15 points, grabbed four rebounds and three assists while freshman Taylor Williams knocked in 13 points and snagged five rebounds. The Cougars were dominant in the first half forcing 21 turnovers, the second-most in a single half this season, and led by as much as 22 points. The Cougars slowed down in the second half, allowing Hofstra to crawl back into the game and make a late comeback attempt. However, CofC held on backed behind a few clutch free throws by sophomore Arynn Eady.

Northeastern enters the game with an overall record of 12-15 and a CAA record of 8-8. The Huskies are coming off of a loss to UNCW by a score of 61-48. Northeastern took the first matchup between the two programs earlier this season by a score of 72-68 at the Huskies' house.
Head coach Kelly Cole is in the midst of her sixth season at the helm of the program. She has an overall record of 79-102 throughout her coaching career.
The team is led by Alexis Hill and Stella Clark, who average 12.4 and 11.2 points per game, respectively. Hill and Clark also lead the team in the rebounding category with 6.1 and 4.8 per game, respectively.

- Head Coach Robin Harmony has a total of 258 wins throughout her career.
- Senior Deja Ford became the 28th Cougar in program history to join the 1,000-point club.
- The Cougars started conference play 2-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season. This also marks the first time The College has gone 2-0 in CAA play since joining the league in 2013.
- Latrice Perkins (13.5), Tyler Collins (11.9) and Deja Ford (10.4) lead the Cougars in scoring per game.
- Sophomore Arynn Eady ranks first in rebounds in the CAA with 9.5 per game.
- Sophomore Madison Taylor scored a career-high 20 points against Hofstra at home.
- Eady logged a career-high 18 rebounds twice this season, one in a 67-63 OT win over UNCW on Jan. 26 and the other in a 70-64 loss to William & Mary on Feb. 7, which is tied for fourth most in a single game in program history.
- Senior Deja Ford earned her first CAA Player of the Week honors for the week of 12/30 through 1/5 after scoring 59 points while leading the Cougars to three wins.
- Arynn Eady has five double-doubles on the season while Latrice Perkins has three.
- Perkins and Collins became the first Cougars since 2015 to score at least 29 points in a single game.
- The Cougars forced 33 turnovers against Coker on Nov. 12 which tied the most in a single game since 2010 when CofC took down Wofford.
- Perkins earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors (Nov. 6-12).
- Eady earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors twice this season for play through Nov. 13-19 and Jan. 22-28.
- Ford earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors (Dec. 30-Jan. 5).
- Ford was named a Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention.
