CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team welcomes William & Mary to Patriots Point this weekend to begin Colonial Athletic Association action with both teams looking to start conference play on a positive note. First pitch on Friday afternoon is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Series Preview
The Cougars enter the weekend with a 3-7 overall record following a series setback to Alabama last weekend and a 3-2 loss to Campbell on Tuesday. William & Mary stands at 1-6 this season after dropping a midweek matchup to Old Dominion, 8-2, on Wednesday.
Scouting the Tribe
The Tribe were picked to finish fifth in the CAA South Division after posting an 8-9 record in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 campaign. William & Mary has accumulated 15 extra-base hits so far this season while surrendering 24 knocks for extra bags as a pitching staff.
