CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team will look to bounce back from a Sunday setback to James Madison with back-to-back midweeks on the road against The Citadel on Tuesday and Wofford on Wednesday. First pitch on Tuesday is set for 3:00 pm at Joe Riley Park with a scheduled first pitch of 6:00 pm on Wednesday in Spartanburg, S.C.

Game Preview
The Cougars have won four of their last five and seven of their last 10 after taking two of three from James Madison over the weekend. The Citadel has won three of its last four including a series victory against ETSU this past weekend. Wofford is currently riding a three-game winning streak after sweeping UNC Greensboro this weekend.

Scouting The Citadel
The Bulldogs enter the week with an 11-20 overall record and a 3-11 mark in SoCon play. The Citadel is batting .286 as a team with 73 extra base hits including 48 doubles and 19 homers.

Ryan McCarthy leads the team with six home runs and 22 RBI while Jeffery Brown carries a squad-best .323 batting average into the week. Tuesday starter Devin Beckley is 1-3 on the season with a 5.76 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 29.2 innings pitched over 17 appearances.

Scouting Wofford
The Terriers carry a 21-13 record into the week with a 10-5 mark in SoCon action. Wofford is batting .281 as a team with 15 homers and 63 doubles.

Nolen Hester leads the team with a .383 batting average while Colin Davis is batting .360 with seven homers, 12 doubles and 30 RBI. The Terriers carry a 4.88 ERA as a team with 292 strikeouts in 293 innings pitched.

Last Time Out
The Cougars won two of three against James Madison over the weekend to take a one-game lead in the CAA South Division over William & Mary. Charleston scored 29 runs over the first two games before JMU bounced back with a 7-1 win on Sunday.

Finding Their Form
The Cougars' offense has begun to spark to life over the last five games with the bats combining for a .292 batting average, nine home runs and 51 runs scored over that span. Luke Stageberg and Tanner Steffy have each clubbed two homers in that stretch while Ari Sechopoulos has accounted for 10 of the Cougars' 47 RBI. Charleston has also combined for a .571 slugging percentage in the last five games which includes a 13-6 win at Clemson last Tuesday.
