MONTGOMERY, ALA. –

Payton Lemire surrendered one hit in four shutout innings in a 2-1 loss to the Governors in Charleston's first game of the day, and McKenna Kelly tossed a complete game in a 3-1 defeat to the host Hornets, with one of the runs against her being unearned.

Aniz Roman had two hits in both games, including a double, to pace the Cougar offense.

KEY COUGARS
•    Payton Lemire relieved Drayton Siegling in the fourth inning against Austin Peay and allowed one hit with two strikeouts in four innings.
