
Cougars Head to Long Island to Face Stony Brook

CHARLESTON, S.C.—The College of Charleston women's basketball team travels north to face Stony Brook on Thursday night, with tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
Charleston will be facing Stony Brook for the first time, after the Seawolves joined the CAA in July of 2022. The Cougars will host the Seawolves at TD Arena on February 17.
College of Charleston (8-9, 3-4 CAA) lost in overtime to William & Mary on Sunday afternoon by a score of 81-74 at TD Arena. Jada Logan fell one assist short of her second triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Three other Cougars scored double-figures in points. Jaila Roberts scored 15, Anika McGarity added 12, and Adaora Onwumelu had a career-high with 10.
The Seawolves (11-7, 3-3 CAA) won at Elon on Sunday by a score of 70-56 with Anastasia Warren (19 points) and Gigi Gonzalez (18 points) leading the way offensively.
