
College of Charleston Women's Basketball Loses to Hampton

HAMPTON, VA.- Anika McGarity led College of Charleton for the second straight game with 15 points in College of Charleston's 56-50 loss to Hampton on Friday night.
The Cougars dropped to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in the CAA. The Cougars travel to Williamsburg to play William & Mary on Sunday at 1 p.m.
McGarity connected on five 3-pointers and was followed by Naylee Cortes, who posted her first career double-figure scoring game with 11 points. Jada Logan recorded her second double-double this season with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Madison Bufford scored 21 points for the Pirates.
The Cougars will be back at home on Sunday, January 15 for a 1 p.m. tip-off against Hofstra.
