WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - College of Charleston had its three-game winning streak against William & Mary snapped with an 81-67 loss in Williamsburg on Sunday afternoon.

The Cougars dropped to 6-8 and 1-3 in the CAA. The Tribe won its first conference game in three tries and are 6-8 overall.
Jada Logan scored a team-high 17 points followed by Jazmyn Stone with 15. Adaora Onwumelu matched her season high with nine points, and Marissa Brown recorded a career-high seven rebounds.
Riley Casey scored 31 points for the Tribe.
The Cougars will be back at home on Sunday, January 15 for a 1 p.m. tip-off against Hofstra.
How It Happened

Six minutes into the first quarter, the Cougars took a 21-17 lead after a 10-0 run.
William & Mary combated the run with a 9-0 surge, taking the lead 36-21 with seven minutes left in the half.
The Tribe took a 14-point lead with less than two minutes on the clock.
Charleston reduced the lead to nine 45-36 to end the first half.
Tribe took off on a 10-3 run with four minutes in the third.
Three minutes into the fourth, the Tribe outscored the Cougars 11- 3 to build a lead of 74-53.
The Cougars struggled to find the basket but went 9-9 from the charity line in the fourth.

Game Notes

Brown's seven rebounds beat her career-high of six, which was set against Tarleton State on November 18.
Onwumelu also had nine points vs. NC A&T.
Sunday's game snapped the Cougars 3-0 streak against the Tribe.
Charleston will be back home on Sunday versus Hofstra at 1 p.m.
