Charleston Invitational Rained Out

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston softball team's season opener and the rest of the Charleston Invitational was canceled Sunday morning due to rain and field conditions. The Cougars' new season opener will now be played at South Carolina Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Columbia.
Charleston will return home next weekend to host the Cougar Classic featuring Boston University, Canisius and Tennessee Tech. The Cougars will play two games Friday and Saturday and one game Sunday afternoon.
