
Women's Basketball Heads North to Face Drexel

CHARLESTON, S.C.-The College of Charleston women's basketball team will travel north to face Drexel on Friday with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
Charleston will be facing Drexel for the first time this season. Last season the Cougars split the series with the Dragons where the Cougars won a dramatic contest by a score of 74-73 in Philadelphia while the Dragons won their own nail bitter 61-60 in Charleston.
Charleston (9-12, 4-7 CAA) lost to Elon on Sunday afternoon 62-49 at TD Arena. Jaila Roberts scored a team high 17 points followed by Jada Logan with 12 points.
The Dragons (17-5, 9-2 CAA) won against Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon 66-65 in Stony Brook where Keishana Washington led Drexel with 40 points.
College of Charleston will continue the road-trip at Delaware (Feb.12).
