CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team defeated Drexel 60-48 to remain undefeated at home, and in CAA play.
The Cougars were led by a dominant defensive performance, forcing three shot clock violations in the first half.
Charleston came out strong, taking the lead with the first points of the game, and maintaining it through the final whistle.

Alexis Andrews, who tallied 17 points and four three-pointers to finish the night. Also finding double-digits was three-time Rookie of the Week
Taryn Barbot with 12 points.
Charleston outscored the Dragons in all but one quarter, where Drexel was able to close the gap in the fourth. After the Dragons minimized the deficit to just four points,
Jada Logan was able to come off the bench and seal the deal for the Cougars, scoring the last eight of the team's ten points. With the 12-point win, Charleston improves to 3-0 in the conference.
