Cougars Look to Continue Winning Streak Versus High Point

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's soccer team will host High Point on Thursday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m.
The Cougars concluded their first week of play with a 2-0 record after defeating South Carolina State and Presbyterian College.
Charleston returns home after a Sunday road game, where Delaney Dawes scored the lone goal to defeat the Blue Hose 1-0.
After scoring two goals in the season opener, Caroline Fowlkes was named Rookie of the Week for the first week of season play.
High Point travels to Charleston after an 0-2 start to the season, falling to Liberty 1-3 on Thursday followed by a 0-2 loss at Clemson.
The Cougars have not played the Panthers since the 2009 season, where Charleston took the 2-0 win on the road. The Cougars hold a 2-0 record against High Point.
With a win versus the Panthers, the Charleston would improve to a 3-0 record for the first time since 2008.
