MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball welcomes a Big East program to the Holy City for the second straight weekend when it hosts Creighton for the first time in school history for a three-game set, beginning on Feb. 28.
First pitches from Patriots Point are set for 4 p.m., 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. All Charleston home games air live on FloCollege.

FIRST PITCH:
- CofC defeated Georgia Southern 6-3 on Tuesday evening, improving to 6-2 on the season.
- Redshirt junior Daniel Brooks went 5.2 innings in the start, striking out five while allowing just two runs on five hits and one walk.
- The outing was Brooks' longest appearance since April 2, 2022.
- Senior Dariyan Pendergrass continued his hot start to the season, going 2-for-3 with 3 runs scored and a hit by pitch.
- Pendergrass also stole two more bases in the win, giving him eight in eight games.
- Pendergrass ranks first in the country with a .710 on base pct., sixth in batting average (.571) and stolen bases (8) and seventh in stolen bases per game (1.00).
- Graduate Avery Neaves launched his first long ball of the season, giving CofC a lead it would never relinquish. The Cougars have left the yard in five straight ball games.
- Charleston played in its first night contest (5 p.m. or later) of the season at Georgia Southern and improved to 62-35 all-time in night games under head coach Chad Holbrook.
- The Cougar pitching staff has been dominant this season, holding opponents to 3-or-fewer runs in five of the eight contests. Charleston's 3.36 ERA as a unit ranks 47th nationally.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston and Creighton will face one another for the first time in program history. The Bluejays are 1-of-2 schools the Cougars will see for its inaugural series. Dartmouth will come to Patriots Point March 14-16.
UP NEXT:
- The Cougars face North Carolina on Wednesday, March 5 at Boshamer Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. with the game airing on ACC Network Extra.
