- Charleston dropped all three contests to Northeastern in Boston.
- Senior Dylan Johnson is hitting .375 over the last five ballgames with four doubles and a .444 on base percentage.
- Senior Dariyan Pendergrass stole his 28th base of the year on Friday, tying him with Brett Gardner (2003), Oliver Marmol (2007) and Clay McCord (2009) for eighth all-time in a season in program history.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 27-27 all-time against Coastal Carolina and 17-8 at home.
- The Cougars beat the Chanticleers 15-5 in eight innings earlier in the season on Feb. 18 in Conway.
- CofC drew a program record 16 walks in the win, paced by graduate Avery Neaves' four free passes. Freshman Landon Penfield launched his first collegiate home run en route to a five RBI performance.
