Biography

On Harmon: A devastating hitter that can turn around a game both at the plate and on the base paths.

2008: Started all 66 games ... led team with .317 batting average, 221 at bats, 40 runs, 70 hits and 21 steals in 28 attempts ... added six doubles, four triples, .394 slugging percentage, 15 walks and .360 on-base percentage ... currently appears in the Cougars record book six times for single season and three times for a career ... single season marks are stolen base attempts (T-2nd), at bats (T-3rd), steals (T-4th), hits (T-5th), triples (T-7th) and games (T-8th) ... career marks are batting average (8th), stolen bases (10th) and stolen base attempts (10th) ... in first season with team, Harmon posted 14 multi-hit games, four multi-RBI games and three two steal performances ... went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in first game vs. Marshall on February 8) ... was 2-for-3 with run and career-high three RBIs against Stetson on February 15 ... notched career-highs in hits, RBIs and runs with 3-for-5, two run, three-RBI outing against UNC Wilmington on March 2 ... ripped a pair of doubles vs. North Dakota State on March 8 ... 3-for-4 with two runs and two steals against Binghamton on March 16 ... posted total of five three-hit games, including two RBIs, a run, double and stolen base in Southern Conference Tournament victory over Elon on May 9.

Chipola Junior College: An extremely dangerous base stealer, Harmon went 46-of-47 on the base paths as a sophomore when the Indians were 47-6-1 and won the 2007 National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship ... that year she finished with a .323 batting average, 50 hits, 26 RBI and a pair of homeruns as the team was ranked No. 1 in the final NJCAA poll ... the previous season she played in 23 games, going 5-for-5 in steals and hitting .397 with 29 hits ... Chipola finished with a 45-9 record and was ranked ninth in the final NJCAA poll ... played alongside current teammate Christal Kotchman both years.

A. C. Mosley High School: Four-year member of the Dolphins softball team, three-year member of volleyball team ... joined weightlifting team as a senior ... as a pitcher and first baseman, Harmon garnered Most Valuable Player, All-District, All-County and Gold Glove awards and was named District Player of the Year ... earned Second-Team All-State and holds career and single-season records for steals.
