GRADUATE (2024)

• Named second team All-CAA in her lone season with the Cougars
• Started all 49 games at shortstop and batted a team-best .325
• Also led the team with 49 hits, 10 doubles, 30 runs scored and a .444 slugging percentage
• Homered twice, drove in 15 runs and stole 10 bases in 13 attempts
• Had 11 multiple hit games including a 4-for-5 performance vs. NC A&T
• Went 7-for-8 in the first two games of the series vs. the Aggies
• Finished the season going 8-for-9 with four doubles and four runs scored vs. Hofstra
• Began the season with a six-game hitting streak including a home run and three RBI vs. Saint Joseph's
• Had another six-game streak in consecutive series vs. Stony Brook and Hampton
• Homered, tripled and scored three times in the opener vs. the Pirates

PRIOR TO COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON

• Played in 111 games during her four years at Notre Dame including 65 starts her final two seasons
• Had a total of 51 hits, eight doubles, six home runs, 31 runs scored and 27 RBI 
• Started 35 times at shortstop in 2022 and batted .254 with four home runs and 15 runs scored
• Had four hits and three RBI in a win over national championship series qualifier Texas 
• Went 3-for-3 vs. Oakland in the NCAA Evanston Regional 
• Recorded two hits vs. Harvard in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional 

HIGH SCHOOL 

• Graduated from Hart High School in Newhall, Calif.
• Was the No. 1 ranked shortstop and No. 15 overall by FloSoftball in the Class of 2019
• Batted .496 with 55 extra base hits during her prep career at Hart High School
• Named to FloSoftball All-American second team three years in a row as well as multiple all-state teams
• Selected first team All-American by USSSA S30 following her sophomore campaign
• Batted .506 as a junior, .480 as a sophomore and .500 her freshman season
• Senior year was limited to six games due to injury
• Played for Corona Angels 14u Tyson, Firecrackers Rico/Weil 18G and Beverly Bandits Conroy 18G
• Member of Corona Angels PGF National Championship team and Firecrackers Rico/Weil squad that won the Canada Cup and was fifth at PGF Nationals

PERSONAL

• Born on June 26, 2000 in Valencia, Calif.
• Daughter of Greg and Naomi Marquez
• Brother, Jakob, plays baseball at Lewis-Clark State College
• Active in volunteer work while at Notre Dame and led the Community Service committee during her junior and senior years
• Helped coordinate four Home Run Derbies to support charitable organizations in the South Bend area
• Organized several events and was an active member of the Notre Dame Special Olympics Club
• Fighting Irish Fight for Life Team Representative and Development/Fundraising Director
